English bluebell

This is the true native English bluebell which looks so amazing in our ancient woodlands in May. The flowers are narrow and bell shaped, with creamy pollen. The stems droop over at the top and look lovely moving in a gentle breeze. The bulbs divide naturally to form a clump which can be lifted and split when they get overcrowded. Bluebells can also spread by seed although it takes 3-4 years to flower from seed.

Our pots have at least 3 bluebell bulbs per pot and when shipped will be well rooted, and may have early shoots, so each pot will be ready to plant outdoors in open ground or in a container.
