Description
For a very attractive plant that loves meadows or a damp site, then Meadowsweet is a great choice for both flowers and foliage. The creamy white flowers have a sweet smell, and last through from June to September.

Bees , hoverflies, dragonflies, butterflies and ladybirds are all attracted to the nectar of Meadowsweet
Other features:
An ancient herb with a sweet scent of marzipan, Meadowsweet was traditionally used to flavour mead. It also makes a popular tea, and in fact the leaves, flowers and roots all have their uses.
