White clover

£3.95£6.95

Wild white clover is found in field margins, pasture and roadside verges and is a super plant for pollinators. In a garden setting, plant in a lawn or grassland to attract bees and butterflies. It also survives dry conditions, so will add colour to a lawn even in a dry summer, and with mowing will form a dense, hard wearing sward.
With a ‘no mow let it grow’ policy’ low growing white flowers will continue to bloom through the Summer. We would not recommend to include in a wildflower meadow environment however, as it will actually add fertility to the soil and be over competitive to the other wildflowers in the mix. It prefers a sunny position with a moist soil to help it become established.
