Description
Euphorbia characias subsp. wulfenii has attractive blue -grey foliage The evergreen leaves grow in whorls around the red tinged woody stems. Due to it’s architectural structure, it can make a lovely feature plant in a gravel area or sunny spot in the garden.
In spring Euphorbia characias subsp. wulfenii has lime-green flower heads which contrast beautifully with the foliage. Once they fade the stems can be cut back
All part of the plant are poisonous, and the milky sap can be an irritant to the skin.
