Description
Phlomis russeliana is a fantastic architectural perennial for the border. The tall flower spikes carry whorls of rich yellow flowers which are loved by bees. In the Autumn and Winter, the flower spikes are great to leave for winter interest and they also look amazing when covered in frost.
The heart shaped leaves of Phlomis russeliana, are evergreen, and form low growing clumps, which offer winter protection for wildlife. Also called Turkish sage, this is a low maintenance perennial.
