Description
Gaura lindheimeri ‘Whirling Butterflies’ is an extremely pretty perennial which grows well in a container or the middle of a border.
It produces star-shaped white flowers fading to pink along slender willowy stems to give a delicate and natural look to the garden. Gaura lindheimeri ‘Whirling Butterflies’ is lovely in an informal cottage garden or wildlife garden, alongside Nepeta, Perovskia, Echinacea or wildflowers.
If grown in a container, it’s advisable to protect with a fleece cover, in harsh winters or to move to a sheltered spot or even into a cold greenhouse.
