In this beginners seed sowing workshop, we will look at seed sowing of annuals, biennials and other plants that can be sown from seed.
Find out when to sow and how to care for your seedlings at this time of year. We will also cover seed sowing and care at different times of the year.
The morning will include the following:
Tools for seed sowing
Compost & growing media
Types of seeds to sow
Learn how to sow seeds of annuals
Aftercare for your seedlings and how to grow them on successfully.
All seeds sown can be taken home.
This is a hands on workshop with some time spent outdoors on the nursery with most of the workshop indoors in the propagating polytunnel.
All equipment provided, but feel free to bring your own seeds to sow if you wish.
Tea/Coffee and cake on arrival is included to set you up for a busy morning ahead!
