Common agrimony is a beautiful meadow flower with long narrow yellow flower spikes, which attract pollinators. It is easy to maintain once established and will flower throughout the Summer months. Perfect when planted with other meadow flowers such as Ox eye daisies, and Scabious.
The Common agrimony seeds are very sticky top-shaped burrs, and will stick to the fur of animals for distribution.
The flowers are a great nectar source for hoverflies and bees. Agrimony is also the perfect food plant for the grizzled skipper caterpillar.
