The annual Cornflower is a well known garden plant but rarely seen now in the wild. It  loves full sun and provides a fantastic display of rich  blue corn-flowers. Plant with other annuals such as Corn marigolds and Corn cockles.  It is traditionally an annual of arable fields but to keep it coming back each year in the garden, let it seed and then dig over the soil in the spring. Or collect some seed  from the plants and resow in the Spring!
