Cuckoo flower is a delicate looking pink flower, fading to white as it matures. The flowers are very pretty and can last from April through to June. This little wildflower is found in the wild growing in damp meadows and boggy areas. However, in a garden setting it also does well in normal neutral garden soil, providing it is not too dry. Furthermore it looks super when naturalised into lawn or grassland.
Cuckoo flower spreads easily by seed or by mowing, as cut fragments will root easily.
