Description
The Guelder rose is a large shrub or small tree, which is really good in a mixed hedge. It is also ideal in a small woodland, or shrub border. From late Spring to early Summer there are beautiful, fragrant, frothy white flowers, which attract hoverflies and many other insects.
Wildlife attracted:
The birds love the red berries in the autumn, especially mistle thrushes and bullfinches
Other features:
The leaves often have rich autumn colours, extending the appeal and interest of the Guelder rose late in the year.
To attract more birds to your garden why not add one of our contemporary wild bird feeders to your order.
