Description
Division of hardy perennials is just one of the ways to create more of the plants you love. Autumn is an important time for propagating hardy perennials. Many plants can be divided in the Autumn and planted directly or overwintered ready to plant out in the Spring.
In this beginners workshop we’ll share with you how to get started. It will be a great opportunity to learn how to divide plants in the Autumn.
The morning will include the following:
Tools for division
Which plants to divide now
Learn how to divide Herbaceous perennials
Replanting and relocating
Aftercare of your divided plants.
This is a hands on workshop with most of the time spent outdoors on the nursery and a short time indoors in the propagating polytunnel. Please come prepared for the weather on the day, with suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear.
All equipment provided.
Tea/Coffee and cake on arrival is included to set you up for a busy morning ahead!
