Description
The Soft shield is an evergreen fern with long dark green fronds. It is native to the UK . The abundant fronds provide foliage all year round, and as a large fern it is great as a shelter for wildlife. It will grow in a range of soil types in shade or part shade. A great fern for a shady border or under trees. Cut back in February – March if necessary to allow new growth to appear.
