Tansy is late flowering, with clusters of vivid yellow little button flowers. The flowers can last well into the Autumn and still attract pollinators, especially on a sunny day. It is ideal for a sunny or part shaded location such as a border, grassland or even container adding colour and texture with it’s fern like foliage.
As an aromatic plant, a range of insects are attracted and is the main food plant of the Tansy beetle.
Tansy traditionally has both culinary and medicinal applications.
