The Wayfaring tree is a large shrub or small tree, which is really good in a mixed hedge. It is also ideal in a small woodland, or shrub border. From late Spring to early Summer there are beautiful, fragrant, frothy white flowers, which attract hoverflies and  many other insects.

Wildlife attracted:
The birds love the red berries on the Wayfaring tree in the autumn and the larvae of several moth species will feed on the leaves.
