PlantWild is located at our nursery in Somerset. The Blooming Wild nursery is located on the Somerset – Dorset border just 8 miles from the historic market town of Sherborne and 4 miles from Wincanton. Why not visit us during the main growing season from March – October. We are open Wednesday – Friday, 9.30am -4.30pm. and Saturday 10am-4pm.

At the nursery you will find a selection of our PlantWild wildflowers, available to buy from the nursery, ideal for your wildlife garden.

We also grow a range of herbaceous perennials and ornamental grasses, all available to buy at the nursery. We feel the range blends perfectly with our wildflowers to help create wildlife friendly and naturalistic planting areas in any outdoor space.

The nursery is peat free and chemical free. We propagate many wildflowers from our own seed stocks. The wildflowers are grown on in our polytunnels, then placed outside in the Somerset sunshine when fully established.

On site we also have demonstration beds of our perennials and grasses, together with a meadow grassland that is a haven for wildlife. All of which are in bloom over the Summer months.
Our take away Coffee stop is open during the season where you can buy a coffee, hot chocolate or tea to enjoy during your browse around the nursery or just sit and enjoy the view.

We attend a number of specialist Plant Fairs and shows each year.
A Plant fair makes a great day out and many of the locations are stunning,!

15th June – The Hardy Plant Society Plant Fair at Batcombe, Shepton Mallet, Somerset

A summer fair full of colour.
