The Camassia is native to North America where it is found in damp open woodlands, or meadows.  It is not native to the UK but we have added Camassia to our online store as it is a fantastic addition to a wildflower meadow or naturalised into a wildflower lawn. The tall stems bear star shaped blue flowers in Spring which also look amazing within a border and suit a traditional cottage garden or a garden planted in the naturalistic style.
