The Camassia is native to North America where it grows in damp open woodlands, or meadows. It is not native to the UK but we have added Camassia to our online store as it is a fantastic complement to wildflowers. Add to a wildflower meadow or naturalise into a wildflower lawn. The tall stems bear star shaped blue flowers in Spring. Also amazing within a border and will suit a traditional cottage garden or a garden planted in the naturalistic style.

The flowers are rich in nectar and attract Spring pollinators, especially bees

Camassia are also known as Wild Hyacinth. They are great as cut flowers
